At CFC safety, quality, productivity and housekeeping are of paramount importance. CFC presently has 9 active safety committees with 25% of our work force involved in these committees. As stated in our company policy and actualized in the day-to-day operations, CFC focuses on maintaining working relationships with our customers to meet their needs of delivering quality product on time.
Lean manufacturing leads to increased productivity, decreased scrap, and cost reductions. In conjunction with area technical schools and universities CFC’s numerous P.I.T. Crews (Process Improvement Teams) are actively pursuing improvements in processes by learning and applying lean technology. Team building and a deeper understanding of the total process benefit each P.I.T. Crew member.
